This award will be presented to recognise excellence in procurement within the context of the overall supply chain flow from the supplier through to the consumer.

Entries should highlight excellence in negotiation, outsourcing, service agreements, contract performance management, offshoring and/or moving away from transactional purchasing.

This award will be presented to Australian organisations that can demonstrate significant achievement in the supply chain supporting a major event, humanitarian relief effort or military customer anywhere in the Asia-Pacific area should enter this award.

The judges will place emphasis on the efficiency with which the supply chain is developed and integrated, the contribution of the supply chain to the success of the mission, task or event, and the effectiveness of ‘bump out’ in reducing the footprint afterwards.

Judges will be looking for the outstanding contribution of an employee network that has tackled issues internally or externally to influence change in the field of equality and diversity, along with examples of significant, innovative, and cumulatively outstanding contributions to improving enhancing the practice of equality and diversity.

This award recognises an individual who has provided an outstanding contribution to the profession of supply chain management in Australia. A “nomination-only” category whereby a person is selected for three areas: their wider contribution to the supply chain community; their demonstrated experience as a supply chain practitioner and lastly, their leadership impact with demonstrated capacity to drive change for the better.

Judges will be looking for individuals who are reasonably well known, they have more than 10 years’ experience in the supply chain industry, and have made a significant contribution to their field, including innovation and creativity, other than the traditional supply chain improvements.
