Jenny Stanger

Position: Executive Manager Anti-Slavery Taskforce Catholic Archdiocese of Sydney

Jenny co-founded the Coalition to Abolish Slavery & Trafficking (CAST) in Los Angeles, working as a case manager and advocate for survivors of human trafficking. She is a founding member of Freedom Network USA, a national advocacy network and directed the Freedom Network Institute on Human Trafficking, a nationwide training and technical assistance program delivered in 23 American cities.

After relocating to Australia in 2005, Jenny co-founded Anti-Slavery Australia in the Faculty of Law at the University of Technology Sydney and in 2007, Jenny became the Supervisor of Australia’s only refuge for women who have experienced human trafficking, slavery including early and forced marriage, a program of The Salvation Army.
